I've known about the Sketchabilities Challenge blog for a while now but this is the first time I've had a play with one of their sketches. It is sketch #100..
And here's my take on it ... The photo is of my
fiance holding our security dog Mitch (or Mitchel as he is
affectionately called). Mitch is a Blue Healer that was being trained
for the oil search lines in PNG, but when our machines kept getting
broken into and personal property began to get stolen (we live on site
at Jonno's Crushing plant) Jonno purchased him from the trainer.
Everyone is scared of him and for good reason, when he is in his yard if he doesn't know you then you won't get in .... but outside his yard he's just a big cuddle pup! And although he is a working dog and there to do a job, we still treat him like one of our pets.
The paper I've used is some old Graphic 45 from my stash along with some Kaisercraft from my paper scraps box. The chip board is some yummy ScrapFX I picked up on the weekend. When I went to do the title, I realised, much to my disgust that I didn't have and "h" in the chipboard font I wanted to use ... so I used the shape from where the last "h" was taken and drew around it ... Well they say necessity it the root of all invention!!!
I'm not big on journalling, it's something I have to work on, but I wanted to explain the story behind the title so I've included some hidden journalling on the back of this tag tucked under the photo.
Well that's all for now. Thanks heaps for stopping by.
Until next time,
Kaye :-)
