Lifes Moments..

Hi again,

Well, finally got back with some more pages I've done recently.

Went we moved I came across lots of old photo's I'd forgotten about, like these, taken of me when I was about 17, I think they were taken the day I went and had all my hair cut off. Boy! I'd forgotten it was ever that long!

I've used a spray of Prima flowers and a Tim Holtz bookplate which I got from the lovely Peta at Scraptique, they are just so yummy!

These are some other old photo's I came across. They were taken when we went back to NZ in 2000 to visit family. These are photo's of me with my nephew who was 10 at the time .... hard to believe he's 21 this year!!!

I'm not very good with journalling so I thought I'd try doing some of the hidden kind on this page.

I made a little slide that went behind on of the photo's with a little tab to pull it out. I've then used some Dusty Attic chip and sprayed it with chalkboard glimmermist.

Well, that's all for now, but I'm off to a Scrap Away in WA retreat this weekend so hopefully the scrapping mojo will flow.

Until next time, thanks for stopping by.

Hello out there .....?

Hi all,

Wow! What a crazy six months it been and I can hardly believe its July already! Sadly I haven't had much time to scrap of late but here's a few pic's of what I have managed to do.

First up is a floating frame I made last year, it was my first attempt and it was sooo much fun.
I've used a yummy Dusty Attic chandelier which I've sprayed with Suede Glimmermist and then covered with clear UTEE

The paper is Websters that I've cut out and mounted up using liquid scrap dots.

Next is a page of my parents, the photo was taken back in April 2000 and it has been sitting in my photo box for a while. When we were moving house in February I came across it and finally got a chance to scrap it Easter weekend .

The paper I've used is Pink Paisley which I got from Scraptique, it's so pretty and it just lent itself to being cut out and mounted up with scrap dots.

Well, that's all for now, I have done a couple other pages but I must dash so I'll post them later.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon.

A Little Bit of NZ

Hiya,

Well, it's been a while, and sadly I haven't done any scrapping for ages as all my gear is packed ready for our move, but I have some photos to share.

Last week I had to make an emergency trip back to New Zealand. My family live in a city at the top of the North Island called Whangarei.

As I was leaving flying out of Whangarei I took these photos

These photo's are of Whangarei Heads

This photo is taken looking towards the Shell Oil Refinery where my husband worked when we lived in Whangarei.

This photo is looking back up the coast as I flew away towards Auckland.
Well, that's all for now, the next photos I post will hopefully be of our new home.
Until next time.
Thanks for stopping by,
