Long time no post

Hi All,

Well, it's been a while , I have been doing a little scrapping, just haven't had time to post any of it, so here's fair warning that this is going to be a looooong post!

First up is last weeks Color Room palette, I actually surprised myself by having it completed Saturday morning, the day after it was released!!! Trust me, that doesn't happen often, but as soon as I saw the palette a page jumped into my head, unfortunately I was at work at the time so it had to spend a few hours bouncing around in there till I could get to the crop I was attending and put it together, and I'm rather pleased with the result. So, here's the palette...

And here's my take on it...

As soon as I saw the palette I thought of this Webster's pages die cut, it's from the Lullaby Lane series. It's a bit hard to see in the photo but I've cut out most of the flowers and leaves and popped them up with liquid scrap dots behind them.

In this photo is my Sister-in-Law and her two lovely children. Her son gave her away and her daughter was flower girl .... it was very beautiful.

Next is a page I started a few weeks ago but hadn't gotten around to finishing. It's another of the old family photos I was given a little while ago. I've used some old Kaiser paper, and a beautiful Tim Holtz book plate but it still needed a little something else .... so I spritzed it with some "Apple" Glimmermist .... oh I love Glimmermist!

And this is the final piece which I'm really pleased with. I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for a while and finally last weekend I had the time to play. I'd used two Dusty Attic Ornate Frames back to back, which I sprayed with "Tattered Leather" Glimmermist and then covered with a couple layers of UTEE. Add a few "Collections" items and there you have it!

Well, That's all from me for now, I'll be back later with some more house photos.

Until next time, thanks for stopping by,

Kaye :o)

New Webster's

I have been hanging out for the new Webster's Pages to arrive and finally it's here!

Peta over a Scraptique has three of the paper ranges in stock, as well as lots of the lovely embellishments. One of the ranges she has is Hollywood and I was lucky enough to be given some to play with and make into a kit. Here's the finished product...

The beautiful bride in the photo is my mum and it was taken 47 years ago.

As with all Webster's paper.... it screams to be cut out and mounted up and that's what I've done here.

I couldn't help adding a beautiful Dusty Attic dress form along with some lovely rose buds and a bit of muslin. And of course ... some glimmermist.

So if you like the layout and want to make one yourself pop on over the Scraptique where Peta has the kit's for $10.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by,

Until next time.
